Netox Talent · International recruitment
Hire across borders with one trusted partner
We recruit for organisations hiring in Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands and Japan, as well as the UK. We bring local market insight to each brief while keeping one consistent process and point of contact.
01London
United Kingdom
Our home market. From London, we recruit permanent, interim and contract professionals across the UK, with a focus on delivery, change, technology and business support roles.
Hiring landscape
The UK market for programme, change and technology professionals is mature and competitive. Many organisations combine permanent teams with interim and contract specialists, particularly for transformation programmes with defined end dates. Hybrid working is now common, and candidates increasingly weigh flexibility alongside pay.
Contractor engagement has changed since the off-payroll working reforms. Clients now determine IR35 status for most engagements, so clear role definitions and consistent assessment matter. Demand for experienced change, PMO and bid professionals remains steady in both public and private sectors.
Roles we place
- Programme and project managers
- PMO leads and analysts
- Change managers and business analysts
- Product managers and owners
- Technology and data specialists
- HR and procurement professionals
- Bid writers and bid managers
- Interim and fractional leaders
Practical considerations
- Right-to-work checks are required for every hire. Employers sponsoring overseas workers need a valid sponsor licence from the Home Office.
- For contractors working through their own company, the client is usually responsible for determining IR35 status and issuing a Status Determination Statement.
- Temporary workers placed through an agency gain rights under the Agency Workers Regulations 2010, including equal treatment on pay after 12 weeks in the same role.
02Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich
Germany
We recruit across Germany’s main business centres, including Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich, supporting clients in financial services, technology and industry with permanent and contract hires.
Hiring landscape
Germany’s hiring landscape varies by city. Frankfurt is a centre for banking and financial services, Munich for engineering, technology and industry, and Berlin for start-ups and digital businesses. Skilled professionals in technology, finance and transformation are in consistent demand, and candidates often have several options.
Hiring processes can take longer than in the UK, partly because of longer notice periods and structured approval processes. Employers that move decisively, communicate clearly and offer a strong case for change are better placed to secure senior candidates.
Roles we place
- Programme and project managers
- SAP and ERP consultants
- Software engineers and architects
- Regulatory change specialists
- Product managers
- Finance transformation professionals
- Interim managers
Practical considerations
- German language skills are often required, particularly for client-facing and leadership roles, although many technology teams work in English.
- Notice periods are commonly longer than in the UK, often several months for senior staff, which affects start dates.
- Many employers have a works council (Betriebsrat), which may have participation rights in hiring and organisational change.
03Stockholm
Sweden
From our network in Stockholm, we help clients hire technology, product and delivery professionals in one of Europe’s most established digital economies.
Hiring landscape
Sweden has a strong technology and innovation sector, with Stockholm home to many digital businesses and international headquarters. Demand for software engineers, product specialists and delivery professionals is consistent. English is widely spoken in business, and many technology teams operate in English.
Candidates tend to value work–life balance, flat organisational structures and a collaborative culture. Employers that present these clearly, along with meaningful work, tend to attract stronger interest. Hiring decisions are often consensus-based, which can lengthen timelines.
Roles we place
- Software engineers
- Product managers and owners
- Agile delivery leads
- Data and analytics specialists
- Programme and project managers
- Change managers
Practical considerations
- Many employers are bound by collective agreements, which can set terms such as pay, working hours and benefits.
- Swedish is valued, and sometimes required, for public sector and customer-facing roles. English is often sufficient in technology.
- Employment protection rules are significant, so permanent hiring decisions and probationary arrangements should be planned carefully.
04Amsterdam
Netherlands
We recruit in Amsterdam and across the Netherlands, an international business hub where many organisations operate in English and hire across borders.
Hiring landscape
The Netherlands is home to many international headquarters and a large technology and financial services community. Amsterdam in particular attracts professionals from across Europe and beyond, and English is widely used as a working language. Demand is steady for technology, transformation and finance roles.
The market for experienced professionals is competitive, and many candidates are open to both permanent and freelance arrangements. Employers that offer clear career development, flexible working and support with relocation are better placed to attract international talent.
Roles we place
- SAP and ERP consultants
- Software engineers
- Programme and project managers
- Product managers
- Finance transformation professionals
- Change managers
- Data specialists
Practical considerations
- Many international roles operate in English, although Dutch is an advantage and sometimes required.
- Qualifying employees recruited from abroad may be eligible for a tax facility known as the 30% ruling. Its conditions have been changed in recent years, so specialist advice should be sought.
- Non-EU/EEA nationals generally need a residence and work permit, often through the highly skilled migrant route with a recognised sponsor.
05Tokyo
Japan
From Tokyo, we help international organisations hire bilingual professionals who can bridge teams in Japan and overseas across delivery, technology and business support.
Hiring landscape
Japan’s market for bilingual professionals is distinct. International organisations in Tokyo often need people who combine strong Japanese and English with specialist skills in project delivery, technology or corporate functions. This combination is in short supply, and good candidates are often approached frequently.
Hiring processes may involve several interview rounds and careful consideration on both sides. Candidates commonly value stability, clear role definition and long-term prospects. Employers that explain their plans in Japan clearly tend to build stronger trust with candidates.
Roles we place
- Bilingual project coordinators
- Programme and project managers
- IT and software engineers
- Business analysts
- HR and business support professionals
- Country and operations managers
Practical considerations
- Business-level Japanese is required for most roles. English requirements vary by employer and role.
- Foreign nationals need an appropriate residence status for work, and employers may need to support visa sponsorship, which affects timelines.
- Notice periods and resignation practices can differ from the UK, so start dates should be planned with care.

One brief. Five markets.
- 01
Discover
We take a brief on the role, location and team, and share local insight on salary, notice periods, candidate availability and market practice.
- 02
Define
We agree the search strategy, language requirements, assessment criteria and timeline for each market, and clarify how the role will be employed locally.
- 03
Design
We prepare local adverts and candidate messaging, and map the market through our networks in each country.
- 04
Deliver
We screen, interview and shortlist candidates, then manage interviews, offers and references with attention to local norms and expectations.
